NEXTalent Inc. is a referral based Peer2Peer recruitment firm and science-based talent marketplace which means we restrict our identification of talent to known industry professionals and industry professionals who have been vetted for above average performance. We understand the competitive value of talented people and spend considerable time identifying and recruiting high-calibre individuals wherever they can be found to place in our talent marketplace.
The difference between the talent marketplace and more traditional approaches to job hunting is our members take responsibility for managing the greater part of their careers. They don’t wait for a headhunter to call. Members expect NEXTalent to be a market maker by finding the best opportunities for their skills and competencies at a compensation range they’ve fixed for themselves. In short, members in the talent marketplace are “free agents”. Our goal is to explode the idea that companies “own” talent.
Benefits of Exclusivity
We’re very selective as to who we accept into the talent market. If you are invited into the network you will be joining a community of individuals that are scientifically assessed for being above average in their fields. The support services you can expect are front-of-the-line access to relevant opportunities, access to career management resources and even eligibility to earn referral fees through our P2P Referral Program. We’re not adverse to acting as a market maker by representing a member’s availability to clients.
To become part of this marketplace of talent, you must be prepared to invest some time in our vetting process, the process is onerous and there is the risk that you may not qualify. If not, you will receive a report that will help you unlock your career potential.
For those applying independent of a known referral source or without applying to a current assignment, there is a modest cost to handling your application. This covers the cost of vetting however if accepted, you will receive back 3X the payment once we’ve placed you with a client, or if you successfully refer a candidate to an assignment. We haven’t designed this platform to get rich on vetting fees.
